Esposito Design Associates, Inc. (EDA) is a full service architectural design firm, specializing in Corporate Interiors, Healthcare Design, Owner Representation and Building Repositioning. EDA provides a full range of architectural services, including programming, space planning, interior and architectural design, construction documentation and construction administration. EDA’s projects range in size from 1,000 SF to over 300,000 SF. Our clients range from all areas of the business world and are located locally as well as nationally.

EDA’s project approach is as individual as our clients. We believe strongly in creating spaces that speak to who are clients are and what image they desire to express. Through the use of Branding Design Techniques, EDA helps existing companies bring their mission statement and goals to life within their business environment and help new ventures establish their own image and branding of their work environment.

CORPORATE INTERIORS
EDA’s primary specialty is Corporate Interiors. Our clients include fortune 100 companies as well as smaller, local business, including venture capital and financial institutions, law firms, insurance companies, marketing and all others types of businesses. EDA believes strongly in creating workplace environments that speak to who are clients are and what they do. Through the use of “branding design techniques” EDA creates a uniquely special and specific design for each client. When walking in to one of our clients finished offices, you immediately know who they are and what they do. During the Programming process, EDA learns about our clients businesses and how they function. The final product is a direct response to the company’s needs, requirements and image branding desires. Through the use of Collaborative Workplace Initiatives and Benchmarking of similar projects, EDA can assure the proper use of space, time and money.

OWNER REPRESENTATION AND BUILDING REPOSITIONING
EDA has worked for and with most of the areas Properties Owners and Developers providing complete design and project management services to help properly position their properties in the market place. Services include base building and site evaluations, site and facilities upgrades, amenity upgrades and additions, complete tenant fit-up services and CADD documentation. EDA has full CADD capabilities utilizing AutoCAD 2007.

EDA has repositioned most of the areas major buildings and complexes. All projects were completed on time and within the owner’s budget expectations. Work has included lobby redesign and building amenities, core bathrooms, ADA Compliance Audits and corrective work, building area calculations and Code Compliance Audits, elevator remodeling and exterior modifications. While completing extensive building transformations, EDA was engaged by the Building Owner to complete most of the tenant fit-up projects in the various buildings and complexes. Building Owners believe that EDA’s knowledge and experience in Building Repositioning and Owner Representation is in valuable. It has been said by one building owner, “EDA is the catalyst to making a deal happen”.

HEALTHCARE
EDA’s Healthcare Design Services has expanded greatly. EDA has completed projects for private physicians as well as multiple projects for the Stamford Hospital Healthcare Network.

TECHNOLOGY
Technology plays an important role in the design field, as it does in the industries and professions of our clients. EDA is committed to providing exceptional services to its clients and in utilizing technology as a vehicle to do this. Our State of the Art CADD system utilizes AutoCAD 2007, customized to provide the highest level of efficiency and productivity. Almost 100% of our projects require the design and coordination for a computer facility ranging in size and complexity. EDA has completed projects with computer facilities ranging from 100 to 12,000 SF in size. These facilities include raised flooring systems, fire suppression, controlled/dedicated HVAC, UPS and auxiliary generators. EDA coordinates and orchestrates the programming and needs requirements with our clients and the Engineering Team.

LEED
The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System is a voluntary, consensus-based national standard for developing high-performance, sustainable buildings. Members of the U.S. Green Building Council representing all segments of the building industry developed LEED and continue to contribute to its evolution. Under the LEED Standards for Commercial Interiors (LEED-CI), our clients can define their commitment to the “green building” philosophies and be recognized as a leader in environmental awareness and commitment.

Through new construction or the redesign of an existing facility, our clients can demonstrate their understanding and commitment to the LEED effort, by utilizing products and materials that meet the established LEED criteria and guidelines. Upon request, the utilization of space, materials and design concepts can follow the LEED standards and whole-building practices. Upon project completion, EDA can prepare the appropriate package of information for submission to LEED, documenting the projects adherence to the LEED criteria.

Currently EDA has one LEED Accredited staff member and several others in training. As active members of the AIA and the IIDA, the EDA staff take ongoing Continuing Education Courses within the Architectural and Interior Design fields to maintain the highest level of knowledge and experience for our clients and their own professional status.
